Pain Management
CH successfully treats trauma and pain by reducing or removing associated issues or conditions. It works by changing how we deal with the physical and emotional symptoms. It may be healing the past, altering how we see, feel, hear and think about it or learning new skills and transforming the future.
Clinical Hypnotherapy is time efficient and a less invasive way of clearing the difficulties and beliefs from the past that can prevent achievement of your desired changes or goals. It is empowering because it successfully improves confidence and self-esteem.
CH directs you to search your unconscious mind in order to discover solutions. The appropriate solutions are acted upon in accordance with your beliefs. Goals are ineffective if they are not congruent with these beliefs.
CH works with altering limiting beliefs and as a result making goals attainable.
CH works by switching off the noise or chatter of the conscious mind that complicates thoughts and choices by confusing beliefs and infusing negativity. This can create obstacles in the form of stress, anxiety or illness that prevent you from achieving your goals or desired outcomes.
Once switched off, the unconscious mind can be enabled and utilised to attain success. The unconscious mind is strong, focused and always in control. It will only follow suggestions or directions that are congruent with you, that are just right for you as you are in control.
Study - Performance
CH improves learning increasing concentration and memory. It can settle nerves, engage focus, enhance memory, recall and performance.
Different techniques are utilised and relaxation is encouraged to combat stress and anxiety whilst enabling a clear and focused mind.
Just about anyone can be hypnotised, as long as they are prepared to be open to something new and completely relaxing.
Most people enjoy the feeling of ‘being under’ hypnosis. They compare it to an activity that is special to them - like relaxing at a beautiful beach or strolling in a lush green rainforest, even fishing at a picturesque lake; what ever works for you! However, there are a few exceptions: Hypnosis does not work for those with a short or low attention span, very young children and anyone that doesn’t want to go under.
Groups focus on a specific issue or condition. It may be a workshop, a weekly group or a more structured program that runs for a set number of weeks with set topics.
Groups may focus on such topics as Anxiety, Weight loss, Emotional Eating, Pain Management, Menopause, Learning + Memory and Relaxation.

Relaxation Group sessions are designed to help clients feel completely relaxed and restore energy in a quiet and comfortable environment. These groups are designed to calm the mind and body by removing tension and stress.
When we relax, we can still our conscious mind and stop the mindless babble. This internal dialogue can be quite negative and tends to take over our conscious mind. This chatter tends to go into overload in times of emotional stress. The purpose of these sessions is to encourage clients to step out of their current space and to achieve a state of relaxation and improve overall health.
They are a great way to support the process of positive changes from individual and group sessions.

Typically CH takes 2—5 sessions. This is usually established at the conclusion of the first session once the issues and related concerns have been revealed.
How long do they last?
For individuals and couples
Allow 75 - 90 minutes for the first session
and 60 - 75 for subsequent sessions.
The time varies for other types of sessions.

Prices vary depending on type of session and are inclusive of GST.
